Dr. Diana Ciobanu O.D.

Dr. Diana Ciobanu received her Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Connecticut in 2001, where she was a member of The Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity. Dr. Ciobanu received her Doctorate of Optometry from The New England College of Optometry in 2005.

In 2010, Dr. Diana Ciobanu opened Visual Paradise Optometry, Inc in Irvine, CA, with a mission to provide exceptional eye care and prioritize total eye health. Her unique approach is informed by her dual educational background, which includes a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences and a Doctorate of Optometry.

Using state-of-the-art equipment, Dr. Ciobanu delivers high-quality care that goes beyond a standard eye exam, specializing in treatment of ocular diseases and a holistic approach to preventative eye disease. She is also fluent in Romanian, and in her spare time enjoys traveling, dancing and golf.

Dr. Dave Cloutier

Dr. David Cloutier has been a practicing optometrist for over 30 years. He attended Loyola Marymount University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Cloutier received his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry, graduating in 1989.

During his training he did externships at the San Francisco VA Hospital and Letterman Hospital in the Presidio. His doctorate thesis was on the effects of extended wear contacts and the health of the eye. During his over 30 years of practice Dr. Cloutier has provided eye care for adults, children and geriatric patients in both private practice and health clinic settings. He has a special interest in contact lens care for children and adults.

During his free time Dr. Cloutier enjoys traveling with his family, swimming, gym workouts, hiking and running the trails of Irvine and Orange County.

VOLUNTEER WORK

Dr. Ciobanu is most proud of her contributions to society as a volunteer with organizations such as One Sight. She devotes her skills, and two weeks per year, to providing quality eye examinations to those in underprivileged communities. She has volunteered in North Dakota, Chile, Mexico, and Thailand.
